There is almost always tragedy when New Zealand encounter West Indies in a T20 international. The first two t20 matches between the sides ended in a tie. However, the overall record of the West Indies is not upright against the New Zealand roster. They have played against each other 13 times and the record is 7-5 in service of New Zealand. The West Indian teams of the latest past have not been able to do fine in New Zealand and this is an occasion for them to alter that record.

New Zealand’s batsman Ross Taylor will resume his advancement towards becoming the country’s most capped player. They have a decent team, and will play to their strengths taking advantage of the home conditions.

The humid and sub-tropical conditions associate to produce pitches that support slow and spin bowlers. The ground resembles a baseball diamond, which can perplex visiting skippers in their field situation. Eden Park is generally slowish and features a drop-in pitch. It is good for batting and is hard on the bowlers. However, the condition becomes delicate given the smaller boundaries at Eden Park in Auckland. Our Match Prediction forecasts that teams will opt to the ball first on winning the toss. Therefore, the toss will be critical.
